Our beginning…
We are Renegade Pop Culture.
So what does it mean to be a renegade in this day and age?
It means we are passionate about the things we love, including animation, video games, movies, TV series, comics, and music!
It means we aren’t gatekeepers. We welcome everyone into our fandom, and we respect and acknowledge the differences among ourselves.
It means that we aren’t about clickbait articles, sensationalistic headlines, or manipulative techniques. We talk about what we love, and sometimes the things we dislike, but we’re always honest.
It means that sometimes we step outside of our fandom circles and wade into discussions about mental health, and yes, even the occasional current event. We aren’t experts, but we care about the world outside our pop culture-focused bubble, and we like to express that.
It means that we love the free exchange of ideas, perspectives, and opinions. We don’t tear each other down when we disagree; we listen and respect each other.
At the end of the day, life can be tough. We know that. So…
Need an escape? So do we!
