In this episode of the newly relaunched Arcade video game podcast, Neoplasmic is joined by Organoid Zero, Allyson Sparkles, and returning co-host Red to discuss the recent Capcom Next 2024 showcase and the issues surrounding the current state of game preservation! We also cover news on the revival of Double Dragon, as well as the biggest releases of the past three weeks, including First Descendant, Once Human, and Zenless Zone Zero! Just a couple of quick notes about this episode: First, I’d love to welcome Red (aka SomebishnamedRed) back to the RPC fold! The last time she was a co-host on the podcast was way back when she and I did our Buffy the Vampire Slayer retrospective, early on in the lifespan of this site. So it’s been quite a while! Second, we intended for this to be a biweekly show for the time being, but had to skip the week of July 6th due to the July 4th/Independence Day holiday weekend in the USA. So we apologize for that, but we will maintain the planned biweekly schedule going forward. Thanks for your understanding!
