While we know that the announcement has already been met with a good measure of skepticism and scrutiny, we believe that James Gunn and Peter Safran have a clear vision and sense of direction with this initial slate of DC movies and TV series. The fact that they named this first phase “Gods and Monsters” definitely hints at something intriguing for the future of the franchise, and we like the variety of characters utilized in the various project they’ve announced here. Hopefully we’ll find out more about the future of the DCU over time, but as of right now, we are very interested and optimistic! And yes, I hope we do see a version of Lobo, because that’d be awesome!
