Halloween Ends Review - Renegade Marquee #26

October 19, 2022 by Michael Kaye in Movies, Renegade Marquee

Returning guest Tommy Hughes joins Captain Kaye, Nick, and the Streamin' Demon to discuss the final installment of Blumhouse's modern Halloween trilogy, Halloween Ends!

What’s going on, everyone? This is your Captain speaking, and I am excited to share our latest episode of Renegade Marquee! Once again, our recurring guest Tommy Hughes joins myself, Nick, and Jacob to discuss the final chapter in Laurie and Michael’s 40+ year struggle. Tune in to hear our thoughts, and what the future could hold for the franchise at large!

My favorite thing about having a platform like this is the diversity of opinions across the panel. There’s no reason to be hostile towards one another just because we don’t agree on a movie. Franchises like Halloween have been around long enough that everyone is going to have their own unique perspective, whether they’ve been with it from the very beginning or have recently joined in. Speaking only for myself, I can say that I have enjoyed this new trilogy overall. Obviously they don’t hold a candle to the original, but if you’re a fan of the slasher genre, they deliver the goods.

That’ll be all for this episode! Thank you for tuning in, and thanks again to Tommy Hughes for joining the panel!

Even having the decency to pay tribute to Tony Todd. But, does the movie live up to the hype? Listen, find out, and RIP Tony Todd.

Another Revenge Of The Sith review? Well Nick & Mike decided because Star Wars: Episode III turns 20 today? And because of the rerelease in April, they felt the need to give the movie it's due. Is it the best of the prequels? Or does it just have the same problems as the other two movies? Does The Clone Wars make it better? Listen and find out. And happy 20th birthday Episode III!
