“Hamilton is the best movie that I’ve seen all year. Yes, I understand that on the one hand, this shouldn’t count because it’s not a cinematic adaptation of the Broadway musical but rather a professionally shot live recording of the stage production, but that doesn’t make it any less impressive as a work of art... [Miranda’s] words are elevated by an ensemble cast about as iconic as The Avengers, my favorites among them are the incredible Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Christopher Jackson as George Washington, Daveed Diggs in the double role playing Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Phillipa Soo as the Schuyler sisters Angelica and Eliza respectively.”
Now, a little bit about Lord Hades’ favorite, well, bit:
“[Let’s talk about] Jonathan Groff’s spit dribbling down his face, which apparently almost got removed, and I’m so glad [Disney] didn’t, because it is iconic... I will bottle Jonathan Groff’s spit and keep it next to my bed and look at it every night in awe of that performer and that spit. That is iconic spit, Disney+. Don’t mess with Jonathan Groff’s spit!”
