The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) Review - Renegade Jukebox #47

August 09, 2024 by Michael Kaye in Music, Renegade Jukebox

On this episode of Renegade Jukebox, guess who's back? No it's not the Rap God. It's Slim Shady! Eminem is bringing Shady back for one more offensive and blood-soaked hoorah. How does it stack up to his legendary back catalog? Have a listen and find out.

What’s going on, everyone? This is your Captain speaking, alongside my co-host, the Super Saiyan Death Metal God! The last time we talked about Eminem was over two years ago, around the time he performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. There was speculation that a new album was on the way, but for whatever the reasons were, things didn’t come to fruition until this year. Now that it’s been a little under a month since its release, Nick and I are finally ready to share our thoughts. So without any further ado, please tune into the podcast to hear the full discussion!

That’ll do it for this episode! Thank you all for joining us! Uh oh, Nick & Mike are entering controversial territory on this Jukebox episode. This time on The Trivium Retrospective, we look at the first Trivium album worth defending.
