To reiterate what we said towards the beginning of the year, Delicious in Dungeon may very well be the best anime of 2024! For a more comprehensive breakdown of the world building, I once again defer to this amazing video by Mother’s Basement. If you’re someone who’s either relatively new to anime, or you’re a veteran who’s sick of the fantasy genre eating its own tail with a nonstop glut of isekai light novel adaptations, then you’ll find this one quite refreshing.
