Summer Game Fest 2024 Recap - Renegade Arcade Reloaded #1
Welcome, Renegades, to the first episode of our video game focused podcast, the Renegade Arcade, now Reloaded for maximum pleasure! Joining host Neoplasmic and regular co-host Organoid Zero are newcomers Pixie and Allyson Sparkles, as the four discuss a bunch of games announced and showcased during Summer Game Fest season, which took place earlier this month. Enjoy the inaugural episode of the Arcade Reloaded podcast!
Once again, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to my friends Pixie (aka Goddess Autumn Fae) and Allyson Sparkles, both of whom I’ve gotten to know through our friend Red’s Twitch community, and of course, I’d like to thank my awesome co-host and longtime collaborator, Brock, aka Organoid Zero, for always being there for our gaming coverage and podcasts! We covered over 50 game announcements in this single episode, including Doom: The Dark Ages, Riven remake, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection, Lollipop Chainsaw Repop, Perfect Dark, Gears of War: E-Day, Indiana Jones, Metroid Prime 4, and much more! There’s a lot happening in the gaming space, so please check out our show if you want to remain in the know!
As a bonus, here’s myself and Brock reacting live to the Summer Game Fest main showcase, presented by Geoff Keighley. Enjoy this as a companion to the podcast!
As a final note, not only does this article and podcast represent my return to hosting a show on the RPC network, but it also means that I pledge to you, our audience, to bring far more consistency to our video game coverage here at Renegade Pop Culture! I’m so happy to be a part of the site team again, and I cannot wait to bring you even more diverse voices and perspectives to this show in particular! I’m so excited to relaunch the Arcade, and I hope you enjoy listening! Thank you for being a part of our journey!!! Until next time, keep having fun and take care of yourselves!
