On a more personal note, the wildfires which have impacted the state of Hawaii, and especially the island of Maui, have struck me (Keona) in my heart. I lived on Maui for eight years and went to high school there, and I have many friends and loved ones who still live there. Thankfully, I believe all of them are safe, along with their families, and I’m eternally grateful for that. Maui is a beautiful, special place.
